The moment we re-enter this reality after resting, the moment we enter the body and open our eyes, is a significant moment with many potentials.
If we consider how we ‘land here’ after resting, we must first consider the ‘space’ we were in when we went to rest. It is absolutely vital to go to rest in a ‘good space.’ Basically, the manner in which we leave the body is the manner in which we will return.
If we don’t leave the body in a good space, it’s often the case that, for those of us who remember their dreams, they will not have been pleasant ones. Leaving in a ‘bad space’ can result in us having archetypical dreams. (Note: You might want to review the article Dealing with Archetypical Influence)
A couple of examples just for clarity: If you have had a fight with someone, fix it, if you have allowed yourself to go into a negative space about something going on in your life, change your perspective before going to rest.
There is a misconception that ‘getting a good night’s rest’ will fix things. It doesn’t work that way. Take care of the problem before going to rest. Think beautiful thoughts. Make a list of all the things you’re grateful for. Think about puppy dogs. Think about hugging someone you love.
When you re-enter after resting, pay attention to how you feel the moment you open your eyes. These are the first moments of your day and thereby have a significant impact on how the rest of your day will unfold.
As much as possible, take the time you need for self before arising. (If you need to be out of bed by a certain time, you could awaken a few minutes earlier to create these moments.)
Pay attention to your thoughts—what are the first thoughts running through your head? Remember, if the thoughts make you feel bad, they are not yours and the entire thoughtfield you are in actually is not real.
If you awaken in a beautiful space, enjoy it immensely! If you awaken in less than a joyful space, if there are negative thoughts coming in, there are a number of things you can do.
First of all, try to remind yourself that whatever it is that you’re struggling with, if it makes you feel bad, it’s not real. It is not you.
Breathe. Breathe in life force. Breathe out whatever you’d like to let go of.
Practice the ‘I Am’ breath,’—so simple— inbreath, ‘I,’ outbreath, ‘Am.’
Work with the attributes of love, joy, freedom, truth, and life—the building blocks of our reality creation. On the Inbreath, ‘I Am,’ on the outbreath, 'love', on the inbreath, ‘I Am,’ on the out breath, 'joy', etc.
Work with the attributes in your local reality that are positive for you. You could use the sunshine, beautiful plant life, a lovely breeze (if that is the case!)—you get the idea.
Work with geometries—the circle, the triangle, and the flower of life are three possibilities.
If these suggestions work, wonderful! If at some points in time they do not, best to not lie in bed and think. We know that the vast majority of our thoughts are negative and that they are being fed to us, so there are times that the best thing to do is to get out of bed and do something positive, something that is moving your forward on your ascension path. This could be anything from a brisk walk, doing some squats and push-ups, or beautifying the physical space you’re inhabiting—basically taking positive action in your local universe.
You could also give someone you love a hug and look into their eyes. See the love in your heart reflected in the eyes of another.
Hope this is helpful to you! As ascension students, the manner in which we re-enter this reality is vital in terms of how our day might unfold. Wishing you soft landings!
